
The Ohio Injury Prevention Partnership (OIPP) is pleased to announce a call for nominations for the 2026 OIPP Promising Practice and Champion Awards.
Nomination Submissions: Nominations can be submitted by anyone who would like to recognize the outstanding efforts of an individual, organization or program. Self-nominations are accepted. If you need additional information from the person you are nominating, it is appropriate to reach out to them and ask them for some information about their program. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2026.
Presentation of Award: Those selected will be invited to receive their award during the OIPP’s In-person meeting on Nov. 4, 2026, at the Quest Center in Columbus, Ohio.
OIPP Promising Practice Award The OIPP Promising Practice Award recognizes outstanding community-based program or agency aimed at reducing the incidence of injury and violence in Ohio. Up to three programs may be recognized annually. When considering an agency to nominate, please consider the following factors:
