Safe Sleep (SS)

The SS Subcommittee is focused on reducing Sudden Unexpected Infant Deaths (SUIDs) in Ohio through increased data sharing, safe sleep training for professionals and families, and sharing relevant resources. To address this goal, we are focusing on the following strategies: Updating a standardized data presentation, partnering with the Ohio Department of Children and Youth to update safe sleep resources, providing education to families at the community level, and providing education and opportunities for providers.

Safe Sleep Subcommittee meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of March, June, September, and December at 10 a.m.
