CIAG SUBCOMMITTEES

PILOT PROJECTS

CIAG is excited to announce the 2026 funded pilot project, selected through a competitive application and review process. This year, CIAG received nine strong applications from communities across Ohio. Following a thorough review, the pilot project review committee selected one project for funding based on overall alignment with CIAG priorities, readiness for implementation, feasibility within the available funding range, and potential for meaningful policy, systems, or environmental change related to child injury prevention. While only one project was awarded this cycle, CIAG remains committed to supporting diverse communities and organizations and appreciates the time and effort invested by all applicants.

The selected project will receive a grant award of $10,000 to support the implementation of evidence-based injury prevention strategies. Through this pilot project funding, CIAG aims to expand opportunities for all children to achieve optimal health and safety.

The following project was awarded funding.

Drowning Prevention:

  • Dayton Children's Hospital
