Inform Ohioans about the risk factors, prevalence, consequences, and costs associated with falls and fall-related injuries. Foster systems change by empowering healthcare and service providers to implement evidence-based and best practices.

Goals

  • Maintain & Enhance OOAFPC Membership
  • Provide ongoing support for the subcommittee and workgroups
  • Assist in the development, implementation, & evaluation of the Awareness Toolkit

What are we working on?

The Awareness subcommittee is working on the next step in the Falls Prevention Toolkit, which will be the development of a Fall Prevention Resource Guide. The purpose of this guide will be to assist and support healthcare professionals, both new and experienced, in accessing resources to the most common fall prevention topics.
