Our Work

    The Ohio Overdose Prevention Network (Ohio OPN) is a subgroup of the Ohio Injury Prevention Partnership (OIPP) and was created to focus specifically on the epidemic of drug overdoses.

    Specifically, through the five committees of Ohio OPN, our work focus on:

    • Examining statewide data and producing materials to raise awareness about the issue.
    • Prioritizing drug overdose as a public threat.
    • Assisting with the development of state-level recommendations and strategies for increasing capacity to respond to the problem.
    • Raising awareness and educating local partners and communities.
    • Implementing sustainable overdose prevention systems and partnerships at the state and local level.

      OUR COMMITTEES

      Ohio OPN is made up of five (5) committees that focus on key strategies and initiatives in various settings to address and help prevent overdoses in Ohio. Our committees include:

      Membership Demographic Survey

      To gather a better understanding of who our Ohio OPN members are, OPN leadership has been administering our Membership Demographic Survey from December 2024 - present.

      Through the survey results, our goals are to:

      • Better understand the diversity and composition of our members;
      • Provide useful and engaging meetings for one another;
      • Define areas for opportunity to expand memberships.
